I'm going over to Cong and I'm wondering is it worth my while bringing my pike rod?
I won't be on a boat so is there be any likely spots that are worth trying from the bank/shore?

Be careful... Pike is a dirty word up them parts.
Not sure if the cong canal is any good for Pike.. It probably is.
It contains huge trout so likely big mammy Pike might be about too..

I was thinking of looking up a corrib fisherman's Facebook page and hopefully getting a full swim by swim breakdown!
