LGFA and the "scores assistant"

    So the LGFA have come up with a new position of "scores assistant" who will be in the TG4 van at each televised game and adjudicate scores via video replay.

    A fantastic idea.

    Right now in the men's game Hawkeye is only available in 3 grounds, if you have a contentious score anywhere else it's still up to the umpires.

    With this system the same technology is available at any televised game.

    You need multiple angles to ensure this works properly. Balls higher than the posts will be very difficult to judge. Can see a scoring controversy with this system.

    If it's anything like the VAR system used in soccer it should be fun :D

    What's the other ground Hawkeye is at? Thought it was just CP and Semple
