    Hi there,

I hope somebody can help me here!

Every couple of months I was getting the half amber engine light pop up on my dash.
When i turned the engine off and back on again it would go away.
I bought a Carly OBDII scan tool and reader and when the warning light came back on I ran a diagnostics which threw up a single fault code: 002FC0 FUEL PRESSURE MEASURING RANGE.

Can anybody tell me; what the problem may be and is there something I can do myself to rectify it, or do I need to take it to my mechanic?

    My car:

    Year: 2008
    Model: 320i SE
    Description: Coupe
    Fuel Type: Petrol
    Engine Size: 1995cc 170hp
    N43 Engine

    Thanks all,
    La Haine

Hi, and thanks for taking a look.

The car can get a bit lumpy when idling for sure, but there's no other codes being thrown up.
Would it be worth just leaving it or should I get it the fuel pressure checked out with my mechanic do you think?

Do get it checked out so it doesn't just give up one day and leave you stranded somewhere.
You may need a new sensor or pump, the mech will quote.

    Will-do.

    Thanks for taking the time.
