I'm currently living in the north and working here however I am considering moving back to the south later this year. I imported a car once before but at the time I was working in the south so I wasn't exempt from paying VRT.

This time though I think I would be exempt as I will have been living and working here for over 2 years and will have had this car (a different one from before) for over a year.

Has anyone here successfully imported a car behind exempt from paying VRT? How easy/difficult was the process? From looking at the revenue website there seems to be a lot of documentation needed.
