    I am after reading this on RTE news, anyone else read it and have an opinion on the ludicrousness of it?

    I find it astonishing that grown men; husbands and fathers, are going around on their bikes playing territory games as if they are wrapped up in some loyal drugs war on the Mexico/ LA border with something valiant worth battling for.
    In reality they are out of shape, bearded, middle aged men who I assume have normal jobs, living in Irish towns, going around wearing "colours" of their respective gangs.

    I think it is pathetic and the Guards should come down very hard on these people and their silly little girls games because driving around chasing each other on roads with guns is not something we want in this country, regardless what American biker nonsense these fools watch on tv.

    The Caballeros and the RoadTramps...talk about aping foreign culture. A 51 year old shooting a 50 year old in a territorial dispute, after one of them wore their 'colours' on the other's territory. F**k me.

    They have violent motorcycle gangs and turf wars there, so it would be gas craic if we had it here too.

    A few around here too, and they're just as described, fat middle aged dopes on crappy bikes who meet up and drink tea.

    The "gang" names are gas, two i've heard of are heatseizures and steelcruisers...gimme a break :D
