Planning - Replacing Mobile Home

I am looking into purchasing a mobile home and land. The mobile home is fully serviced and was granted planning permission when installed on the site. My question is, do I need new planning permission to replace the current (old and dated) mobile home with a newer model (same size/footprint and same position on land) or a log cabin (same size/footprint and same position on land)? Any help is greatly appreciated.

like for like replacement, probably not, BUT, it depends on the original planning application. Does the Mobile Home have a time limit attached to it?
Was it temporary permission while a permanent dwelling was being built?

Log Cabin - Yes planning required as its materially different to what you have currently.
