Is it possible to move the soil pipe to another wall, or is that too much work?

    Thanks for any advice

Indeed it is. It's about the same as guessing the length of a piece of string

Anything is possible if you're willing to pay for it.

When you are showing us the picture can you tell us what way the joists run? Or failing that, what way the floorboards run in the adjacent room.

I'd forgotten the original question & had to read it again :)

What wall do you want to move it to?
Is it going to be moved to another outside wall? an outside wall?

    I'd forgotten I'd posted it :D

Hubby wants a shower unit across back wall which leaves very little room for toilet and washbasin tbh.
