Think about it. Everyone bating the heads off each other all the time. Talking about olden times here, middle ages, wars and what not. No paintings of portraits show cauliflower on all them. Have we been lied to all this time. Has the dark middle barbaric ages actually been a time of good gentlemanly frolicking.

Do bit of rugby nowadays or mai thai be getting cauliflower ears on ya. Musta been cushty lads back then since none them be there with their cauliflower ears on them in them paintings. Somethings up. Something ain't right. Were they bad ass warriors like Game of Thrones or what?

It's more the constant friction in the scrums and grapples that gives the cauliflower ears U think. Not so much the pucking and cleaving.

You see him and his oponent locked in a tight embrace, like a pair of lovestruck impalas, ceanns a-frottaging, often enough.
