Why is this not helpful ?

If we get more information then we can make an informed decision and advise this person better ?

If the dad was of help he would have been mentioned in the post and also why he wouldn't have been at this time.
The fact he isn't implies he is not which is why she is asking for help here

Assumptions can be very foolish endeavours .

I prefer to take a minute, ask the question and then get the exact accurate story.

Not to get sidetracked but the father has a legal and moral obligation to this child. If he can't help then his family maybe able to assist ?

This part screams that she has no one else.
Looking for a place while pregnant and after for her and the baby doesn't imply anyone else is there so I answered ops question with a place that will help her.

Right now she's made a post with questions and advice she needs help with so op you need to contact woman's aid for immediate help

Op you could ask for homeless support or go to a woman's shelter.

You could also find a place to rent privately and apply for rent allowance or HAP (depending on which is in operation in your area) but you will be renting as a single person (as opposed to a parent and child) until your baby is born.

You can go on the housing list but you will be on the list which can take years.

How old are you? There may be housing options for you if you are younger. Where are you based? I am only familiar with Dublin services so check out Carr's Child and Family and Anew.

Hey op, are you in Ireland or the UK? Just wondering because you mentioned money in pounds.

If you're in the UK, the advice you get will be incorrect if people are posting about Irish regulations
