Obtaining Certificates from Training

I'm returning from abroad soon and I'm gonna look for work in bars/pubs. During my last job my employer paid for courses like first aid, manual handling, alcohol awareness and HACCP but I never received the certificates personally, as they were left in my file in the office, and when I left I forgot to take them, which was over 9mths ago so I doubt they're still there.

I presume if I include these courses as part of my skills/training on my CV, employers will want to see the certs so should I mention them at all? or is there any way to find a certificate through these companies?

If the courses were qqi courses then you can pay for copies of the certs. Qqi.ie

If they were private none certified, you can contact the company that delivered it for a copy.

I did many courses delivered in house in the UK and never received the certs, I have the courses on my CV and I've never asked for my results.

I honestly have no idea what company the courses were run by.

Should I still stick them on the CV though? I doubt many employers will go crazy looking for them, especially as stuff like manual handling in particular is pretty useless information.

Most of those courses Certs are only valid for two years. When did you do them? You may need to update them anyway.

Keep them on. Give your boss an email to see if he still has them and if not ask for the providers details. Any new employer might get you to redo manual handling anyway, I know they do in public service jobs.
