    Hi

I know that a garden shed built like this does not require planning permission

    25 Sq. M max
No minimum distance from boundary over here.
Max height of 3m with flat roof or 4m pitched(tiled or slated).
Must have 25Sq. M of garden remaining then.

But a friend of mine mentioned he heard if the roof is tiled and not just felted it classifies as a dwelling , is this correct ?

the total floor size will be just under 25 meters (5x5)

Also a question on roof pitch , for a tiled roof.
If the the rear wall height will be 3.00 meters
is the front wall ok at a height of 2.40

    thx Chessguy

Your friend is wrong. The shed can be tiled, slated or flat room. The use is determined by its use, not the construction method.

Depends. What will the internal floor area of the shed be?
