Don't forget to include the price of a seat in your booking when comparing. I'd recommend reserving one when booking the flight.

Only if you're traveling with somebody, and only if you want to sit beside them for the flight... Families with a child under 11 will need to book an extra seat anyway

Why do you recommend one? If I'm travelling with out the kids I'll sit anywhere, especially if it's just my and the misses, after a few days away when your together 24 hours a day. It's nice to sit apart.

For those of you wondering, all flights to the London airports from Shannon are a minimum of €19.99 each way at the weekends for October and November, the same price they were yesterday so not really a sale

Although to be fair to Ryanair, a train to Dublin is €70 return and Ryanair coffee is a million times better than Irish Rail... Perspective!

    70 to Dublin? From where?

Same for Cork unfortunately, even Thursdays are 19.99 still. Just a few days are 9.99.

My apologies I a was looking at the return journey Limerick is €70 return (although €53 one way). Tralee is 68 one way.

Still 2 adults and the kid is €175 return to Dublin, €128 with Ryanair to London for the same crew
