    Hey guys,

I'm hoping to switch my Dad to vaping because he's been saying he wanted to do it for ages, at the moment he smokes either John Player and Rollies.

The word of vaping seems to be crazy confusing plus lots of outdated reviews online don't help.

He'll deffo want a pen type device rather than the big units, but what one should I go for?

Is there any reason I shouldn't go for Logic Pro/LQD or VIP?
Don't think he's a fan of the liquid things mind.

Any help would be hugely appreciated

I would not recommend any of those you mentioned, your Dad needs something to stop his cravings for a ciggy...
This set-up has worked with many http://www.thebestshop.eu/shop/vv-mods/854-aspire-zelos-50w-kit.html

Here is a video showing you a review... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hJsbOm8-SAQ

You will need eliquid & I would suggest getting him 18mg Nicotine strength to start with,I'm vaping 9 years & still using 18mg strength :D:D

If you decide on this set-up,come back here before you buy,you will need spare coils & there is a discount code for 10% off...

My advise would be to get him to visit a e-cig shop - go with him if you can and experiment with flavours and devices.

Other than that it could be a bit of a gamble - possibly a waste of money too ( speaking form experience here - ive bought my dad loads of things and he has never really liked any)

    Good luck to him

I second the recommendation to visit an e-cig shop. I would also advise that he buy it himself. I have gifted vapes to others in the past and they barely tried them. I think the person really needs to want to switch and investing their own money helps reinforce the move to vaping. You could help him pick it out at the vape shop and support him that way.

I'd also recommend buying a second back up vape. You can have one charging while using the other and also in case you lose one - having a spare means you don't go running to the shop to buy cigs in a panic.

    OP Where are you located?

I'm sure many boardsie's here can offer recommendations on certain shops and people
Personally i would recommend Gael in Cigatec in Dun Laoghaire if you are near by.

If you are in the city or elsewhere someone else will advise
