I got some JVC radio for my e30 and in the installation guide they say speaker cables are purple/purple black stripe, white/white black stripe, gray/gray black stripe etc. Now I can see plenty of cables but none of them that are in the inst. guide. I can recognise the power (dirty white), black would be earth I presume, antenna is obvious but rest of them don't really match. I have red with black stripe (that's together with black? Is that earth?) etc. In the guide they say blue with white stripe power antenna but I have blue and grey stripe. Anybody knows what's going on and what goes where?

The colours you are looking for are the modern ISO European standard colours for wiring, its unlikely you would find them in a car OEM wiring & certainly not in a car that age. Either get yourself a test light & a battery & find the wires yourself or bring it to your local car radio shop (not Halfords) & pay them to wire & install it correctly. It'll probably cost you around €30-€40. It's worth it to get it done right.
