    Hi all,

I want to go back playing the tin whistle. I played it from 1st to 6th class in primary school and without blowing my own trumpet, I was pretty good at it as well in my hay day! :D Now at 24 I would love to relearn it. I've become so rusty on it. So I am looking for sheet music for the tin whistle if anyone could point me in the right direction. Some songs I'd like to learn include hallelujah and better together by jack johnson.

    Thanks a million.

If you're blowing a trumpet, you're playing the tin whistle wrong, so it sounds like you're off to a good start by not doing that.

    Loads of stuff: https://www.google.ie/search?q=tin+whistle+music+sheets

    Hallelujah: http://www.irish-folk-songs.com/hallelujah-tin-whistle-sheet-music.html#.WWTRwYRuLmE

You might need to read music and pay money for Better Together: http://www.musicnotes.com/sheetmusic/mtd.asp?ppn=MN0072623

    Haha, true.

Thanks very much for this. You've been a great help.

Just a question though! How come it only gives the first part and not the whole song?

Of "Better Together"? It says "This is a 1 page sample. You'll receive all 8 pages after purchase". Songwriters and publishers make part of their living from selling sheet music, so they tend not to give it all away for free.

"Hallelujah" is just a matter of repeating what's there over and over.

Older songs that are out of copyright are often available for free, as are unofficial interpretations of songs that can contain errors. The official versions of copyrighted songs, ya gots t'pay fo.
