I had a good look at this recently and decided against it from a security point of view. If you do a search you'll find a thread I started a few months ago. I've a big dog - might be viable with something smaller.

We have a small Jack Russell cross and installed a large cat flap for him. It works from his microchip so only he can get in and out of it. We have it in a pvc door, a builder friend installed it but mainly because we didn't have a clue. Its fairly easy to install if you are any good at diy!

I'm fairly sure its the 'sureflap' one. We've had it nearly 2 years and no problems. Although we had a 'slight' problem when installing because the builder sawed through the sensor! So we had to buy a second one! So make sure you read the instructions before fitting it.
