Can I get Argos to email me a receipt?

I bought something from argos on thursday and I've lost my receipt. They offered to email me a receipt from instore but I declined, would they do it if I called them, what proof of purchase would I need?

Ring them with the date and approx time of purchase, along with the item name and code. Also state if it was cash or card.
