Not correct ...... it is probably

More good news for Irish Sky HD Subcscribers.

It certainly does me no good as long as it is encrypted, and I am an Irish viewer.

There really needs to be a Sky subsection in the Satellite forum ...... or maybe a FTA subsection so that those who do not pay a Sky subscription can easily avoid all the posts about such services.

I tuned it in but there's no sound. The picture quality still looks dire tbh.

I think Jimbo 2007 means well. After all, Sky have nearly 700,000 subscribers in Ireland and while all won't have HD pack, it is good news for a lot of other Sky subscribers. If someone doesn't want or like Sky, that's fine, but for those that do, the more HD channels the better value people are getting for the admittedly high prices that Sky charge.

Yeah HD is only out over 10 years at this stage.

    Cutting edge stuff by 3e.

Anything would be an improvement on its present SD picture, it's absolutely dreadful it's noticeably worse than any other channel, it reminds of the old UPC analogue days.
