Scrapping Irish van in Germany

I bought an Irish registered van and moved over to Germany with it.
The sills are shot and it needs some other bits of work done to it, so it's just not worth it bringing it up to scratch to get it through the German TÜV and registering it here.
I have a fellow who is willing to take it off my hands for bits, but he needs a piece of paper in his hands about the ownership of the van.
Has anyone any idea what needs to be done, I have done some research, but never found anything matching this exact scenario. I just want it taken off my name, so whatever happens to the van doesn't come back to me and he has something in his hands to prove it's not a dodgy motor.

Why don't you drive it back.
ADAC will provide green card insurance for about 80 euro and if it is any way serviceable at all you will get someone willing to buy it in Ireland for more than would be paid in Deutschland.
Perhaps placing an advert a few days in advance of travel would have a few interested parties ready to view.

If it is a banger with an immobiliser key and the buyer wants it for parts then giving him everything except the key fob electrics will ensure it never finds its way on to the road again. They won't go to the expense of a recode for a banger.

If you are set on officially exporting this then a letter to Shannon with a photocopy of licensing cert should suffice.

What is it and where are you located?
