eBay items not arriving from china

I've bought a pair of runners from 3 separate eBay sellers based in China. Waited almost 2 months each time but item never arrived. Sellers have issued refund no hassle so I just ordered from different seller. I'm getting a bit suspicious now. Is this a deliberate ploy in that it inflates their sales numbers? Because i got my refund i didn't leave negative feedback.
Or is it genuine issue with posting from china? I've bought from china and Korea etc over the years and it's only been this year that items haven't been arriving? Is it just bad luck that has happened 3 times ?

    Is there any tracking number?

I got a parcel from china the other day that I ordered 7 months ago, the seller refunded me after 2 months of no delivery. Don't really know what the hold up was.

Are the runners genuine or knock-offs?

I got a refund on an item from China after waiting two months - two weeks later it arrived.

I resent him the money - it was a very small amount but probably much more significant for someone over there.

As a test I bought a cheap item, an oil picture, from Hong Kong, (allegedly), on 1st July via E-Bay, with free shipping. Same day got a mail from the seller saying deliver is due this week!

This is my first buy from that part of the world. I am not holding my breath but will be interested in the outcome.

Maybe genuine reasons haven't arrived but they were so quick to offer refund it made me wonder if they ever actually posted in first place. I'll give it a year and if none of the 3 pairs arrives, I'll go with my scam theory :) if I do receive I'll feel guilty for being a cynical cow

If they have any kind of good feedback - they will do everything they can to protect it, as dropping below 90% good feedback would make most consider not buying from them.

There are scammers out there of course, so many of them - but if you are seeing hundreds of good feedbacks on their account all in the recent month its a very good indication they are trustworthy.

Plus the scammers would not have been as easy to get your money back from.

Stuff does go missing in the post - sometimes you need to check with Irish customs to see if they have it - they will stop and destroy fake / knock off items if they catch it.

    Hope you get your stuff...

Ive bought a few cheap bits from China. 5 to 6 week delivery each time.
I will admit i was quite worried after contacting one seller after 1 month and got a long reply firstly asking if myself and my family were ok and going on to wish me life long happiness etc. Still item arrived.

I ordered an item from China in early January (on eBay), no sign of it for weeks. Filed a claim, got a refund. Item turned up in late April. God only knows what the Chinese postal service is up to!!

Really reassuring hearing stories of 4 months delivery time that at least one pair may still turn up ( I'll be happy to repay seller in that case) . Ill wait until 2018 if they turn up like a stray dog . They're not a brand runner, more a fashion item so doubt it's because of any knock-off issues

Well, knock me down with a feather! My "original abstract oil painting" from Hong Kong arrived yesterday. Cheap as chips with free shipping.

But....... It is not an oil painting but a reasonably good quality silk screen print and it came either from or via Holland.

Mr Yin, the supplier and I are now chatting about the item and he assures me it is a "satisfying oil painting". It's not....:). Still, I will keep it.

Update..product never arrived . They claimed they sent again but neither has shown so I'm pretty sure neither was posted. They're not answering messages on eBay and now o discover that because 30 days has passed since expected delivery date, I cant open a dispute on eBay?? Have learned lesson ,will never order from a Chinese seller again as no comeback because of the 30 day rule

Open a claim on Paypal, you have 6 months from the purchase date.
