Power Shower Purchase in UK

Hi, we have an aqualisa aquastream, installed over 12 years and sounding like a tractor, it's need to be replaced and I've being doing research but I'm stumped. The aqualisa is just too costly to buy again. I can get a triton thermostatic power showe in argos/Homebase etc for approx €330 - same shower on Amazon is £138. Amazon gives the specs, argos doesn't. But as far as I can see they are the same shower. From a bit of googling,I came up with there may be a small difference in the pipe width - but easily overcome? I also gather that I need a plumber to change pipes to fit the triton in place of the aqualisa - is this a big job? Costly?
It would kill me to pay twice the cost here for the same shower but nervous. Amazon state its not for use outside U.K., no warranty with triton but Amazon are great if it's faulty anyway. Anyone any advise, shower replacement is a nightmare. I honestly haven't a clue??

Along with a plumber you have to get a registered electrical contractor to complete the electrical work on showers. I think it's only mira showers don't offer warranty on showers purchased from the UK but could be wrong on this.

Triton & Aqualisa don't offer warranty on UK showers in Ireland but mira do.

It's a big job changing from a aquastream to a triton or mira power shower. Aquastream is low voltage and all the others are 230v. Also plumbing is totally different. You'll pay around 550 supply and fit to charge to a triton or mira. You might need some tiling done too. Replacing for another Aqualisa is a as little as 675 supplied & fitted online.
Mira has 12 months warranty and will break your heart at the cost of parts when it breaks. They don't cover replacement parts with a warranty.
Triton has 24 months warranty and its parts are a half or a third of the mira parts. Parts have a 6 Months warranty
Aquastream comes with a 36 months warranty. Parts are around the same price of mira parts or less and come with a 2 years parts warranty

Sleeper is THE MAN here so what follows is just my thinking.
If the existing setup is LV, then consider the Mira Vigour, which is about the 300 mark here and in LV.

I hate to contradict you because your knowledge usually beats me hands down but the vigour is 230v.
The price is about right. You might get it around 280 at a trade counter

Thanks a million for the replies, it's looking like I may just suck it up and pay out for another aquastream. The cost seems like to will be similar enough whatever route I go, and to be fair the current aquastream we have owes us nothing, no issues since we got it, can't fault it for old age now. A new aquastream seems like the least work, I'm guessing it will be a way quicker job. Thanks again
