VRT (how often is it adjusted?)

    Hi I haven't used this for a long time but I know a bit about VRT at this stage, I have tried to ring revenue but have got nowhere my question if some people could help me is how many times a year do revenue change the price of the VRT a year surely they don't set it for the year i.e. 1st of Jan 2018 VRT wouldn't be the same as 31st Dec 2018 or is it set for the year, so I might as well get the car come the 1st Jan 2018, thanks

    It's revised throughout the year, at least 4 times a year but possibly even more often than that.

    The OMSP are reviewed each month. Prices normally change at the 1st of the month, it can go up or down.
