While Robinhood is only available in the US another free stock trading app has arrived in Ireland (okay technically in the UK).

https://freetrade.io/ is invite only for now, you can put your email and wait for an invite (currently 10 000 people ahead of you). Sign-up takes 2 minutes and requires a phone number, an ID and a bank card. Seems to be legit, here is an article on FT.com.

I signed up like four months ago and still haven't gotten anywhere with it. Same thing with Deziro.
