My mothers tv doesn't have a tuner to receive terrestial channels. So i bought her a Ferguson Ariva fta receiver. After removing the tv and receiver for some work to the house, when i reconnected the receiver to the tv and retuned it, the rte channels are comming in scrambled. Its odd because tv3 is fine. Help.

Only on satellite are the RTÉ channels scrambled, is there a satellite dish connected together with an aerial?

Yes both are connected, but rte is scrambled. I wouldn't normally bother with rte as its rubbish, but the wimmens like it.
