Hi, Apologies if this has been asked before but can the English census be accessed for free...like the Irish ones...every site I try has a charge to see the household return...so if anyone knows a site where I can access it I would be so grateful..thanks.

You can search indexes on Familysearch but for images, they link to FMP. This is the closest to free available.
