Silage after Lime

Spread a good 2 tonne of lime / acre in mid February. Field has been grazed 3 times since then by sheep. Walking the land a month or two after lime could see the odd clumpy bit of lime on the ground. Haven't noticed any recently. Was going to try and take a silage cut off it in mid August, do ye think it'll preserve right ? Contractor usually mows and bales up a day or two later.

For silage swards apply lime before mid-March for first cut or within one week after cutting on land being closed for a second cut.
