The Friday Night football plan has been a disaster. Sky didn't fulfill their 10 games last season, and looking at the first 2 fixtures that they've chosen - looks like they don't trust any big match for that time slot.

It was always "up to" ten games in the Friday night slot.

There was no actual commitment to ten games.

    Many people make that mistake.

Bear in mind, also, that local councils and police may have objections to more fiery fixtures taking place on a Friday night.

Usually the Premier League starts on a Saturday so the Friday Night match will be weird.

Who is going to watch Sky Sports Premier League when the season is over?

I know the Premier League Asia Trophy is being shown on it but Sky dont show much Pre Season Friendlies.

I have to say the picture quality of the Premier League in general on tv this year seems to have deteriorated alot.
HD seems to be alot worse than previous seasons ,is this some sort of attempt to flog the 4k service ?
