Some networks there is a cap on how much of your data you can use, but AFAIK with Vodafone you can use your full allowance.

This just applies to the EU though, some countries such as the US there is a daily charge depending on network, and other countries there is roaming charges as normal.

Although OP, I would ring Vodafone to be sure.

Final question...am no phone or internet techie...so apologies if the answer is obvious but it's not to me......when you are on 'wifi ' in likes of Spain ....are any of your Vodafone gb being used or is it totally separate and 'free' of your plan?.....in other words is there any benefit in having Roaming enabled?

    Thanks for any insight.

Wifi is not your data. data is used when you're not on WiFi

If only there was a dedicated forum to answer all these questions.

OP if you are on Wifi and you are connected to it, regardless of where you are, be it in your own front room, or a strip club in Magaluf, you are not using your your data, or any of your plan. But to be sure, if you are concerned about data roaming, I would turn it off in your phone settings, to be sure you don't accidently connect incase the Wifi connection drops.

You pay 20 euros for free calls?

You pay 20 euros for free calls?

You can get unlimited calls for 10 on its own.
You can choose 2/3 from unlimited calls, texts, 15gb data for 20 or all three for 30
You don't keep the credit though
