Anyone been in to the new Round Tower Visitor Centre in Clondalkin Village? the council really did quick work on the site and it looks great from my view going by every morning on the bus. The old, derelict houses were an awful eyesore there too, glad to see them out to decent use.

The Happy Pear crowd are running the cafe inside too apparently. Think that's 3 new cafes in the village opened in the last year.

Yeah, I've been in a couple of times (its just down the road for me). Its great, really well done IMO. The museum/heritage centre part is good, though definitely aimed towards a younger audience. The Happy Pear Cafe is pretty good too, nice layout. The food is what it is, the vegan stuff they are well known for. Not as expensive as I was expecting though. The garden is really well laid out too. Definitely a nice addition to the village, and well worth a look
