Canon Powershot G7X Mark 2

I'm a keen gig photographer and normally use a Nikon D7100.

However with the recent upsurge in security at concerts, I'm reluctant to take the risk of bringing it. Cameras with detachable lenses are deemed to be "pro cameras" regardless of their specs.

With that in mind I have my eye on a pro compact camera, in particular the Canon Powershot G7X Mark 2.

If anyone owns this camera, can they clarify if the focus light can be switched off when shooting in low light?

    Thanks in advance,
    PH
