Mapping of Manual to Automated Test Cases

    This is a potential question i may be asked in an upcoming interview. The question is basically to explain how the mapping is not 1 to 1.

    My thoughts are to answer it with the following 2 points...

    1) User Acceptance testing that requires human eye (e.g poor tabbing, unreadable colour combination on text etc) couldn't be automated

    2) Frequency of running the automatable tests

    But i fear id be waffling. A quick google finds not much. Any tips would be appreciated greatly!

    I would suggest also thinking about things like limitations in the available automation tools and custom code.
