Electrical meter box

Hi, the recessed meter box at the side of the house is in a bad way. The door is broken and the box is damaged where the hinges should go. Is it possible to get a metal cover with a door on it to cover the box? My neighbour has just got a metal cover to go over his gas meter box and it makes a big difference. Thanks

Give Esb a ring. It's up to them to maintain the meter boxes. It should be reported by the meter reader but chances are he didn't tick the box on the hand held to indicate a visit was required.
