Mods if I am in the wrong section please move. Thanks

I have a Mira Elite and the last couple of days the water has been absolutely scalding. If I move the temperature gauge up towards the blue it used to cool the water down but now it isn't. If I move it into the blue it goes cold.

So its either scald myself or freeze myself!!

Hubbie thinks its because of the warm weather that the water going in to be heated is warmer than it would be during the winter - he's not a plumber by the way :) - but I have never noticed it before.

    Any suggestions?

The ambient water temperature is much warmer at this time of year. Some days it's almost lukewarm before it hits the electric shower. Obviously the end result is hotter water coming out of the shower.
Try run without the shower head attached. If you can regulate without the shower head then it needs to be descaled. The filter may need to be cleaned. Try setting the top dial to medium.
If none of the above helps then the element may need to be replaced
