I'm not sure there are any, I've been looking myself. A few places say they cover Fingal, but it only seems to extend as far as Swords.

What's annoying is that I emailed them yesterday about price changes and they said

    "Thank you for the e-mail.

At present no price changes are finalised.

The prices will remain the same for the foreseeable future & we will inform all customers if any changes to pricing will occur.
If you have any further queries please do not hesitate to contact me directly."

I might be reading the wording wrong, but I believe this contradicts what is in the papers today.

Panda are certainly the only game in town in Portrane. TBH, I've not found them bad (compared to Greyhound at least, CityBin were a joy to deal with) and don't see anything overly onerous in the new terms as listed in that article? It seems to be mainly an effort to ensure that waste is correctly sorted into the different bins?

I certainly have no problem with cracking down on proper segregation, but there's been no information from the company themselves. Will I be fined if I put a cereal box in the black bin? (Just using an example from the article), or will I be warned and told to sort out my recycling?

That's really my issue with the new rules - how they're being brought in, rather than the rules themselves.

In practice, I doubt that. A cereal box in the black bin is not a problem as such, whereas a nappy stuffed in a cereal box in the green bin definitely is. Something we will have to look out for is things like batteries in the black bin. I'd have been guilty of that in the past, but since black waste is probably heading for the incinerator now, we have to be more careful about that kind of stuff.

Have to say though, it annoys me to read a list of things that says "including, but not limited to ...". That sounds like it's not so much intended to inform the public, but to give them the right to be judge, jury and executioner.

What they need to do, is come up with a comprehensive guide of what is and isn't allowed, and less of these weasel words.
