My other half has recently moved here from Denmark and has begun the Garda Vetting process to allow her to work.
Finding it very hard to get a consistent answer on this from both Guards and relevant organisation so maybe someone here can help.
Will the Guards contact the Danish authorities themselves or will she have to present a police certificate from Denmark herself?
We're just trying to keep the process as smooth as possible. Also, from start of ID process to eVetting form, how long does it usually take at the moment?

This is presumably a health or social care position. My understanding is that the gardai will do nothing other than search their own records and to the extent that they've only arrived, it will be the candidate's own responsibility to obtain the overseas clearance. The relevant employer or registration body is the place to confirm it.

Depending on information required it should only take around 10 -14 days to complete the online process from start to finish
