In tank fuel pumps

    Can anyone confirm if 'in tank' fuel pumps are generic or are there specific ones for petrol and diesel? I need to settle a bet ;) Thanks,

    They arent specific to petrol and diesel but there are many different models and sizes

    Diesel pumps are generally ran off the timing belt producing high pressure. Petrol pumps are in the tank. Some diesels have a low pressure in line pump in the tank also
