Engineering laptops?

    Hi,
    I was just wondering if engineering students need laptops of a certain quality to run certain software needed in the course?

    Mid range laptop should do, don't need to spend lots. Get an SSD, 8-16GB of ram and an i5 (or amd equivalent)
