Diagnosed with Bell's Palsy

    Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy on Monday which sucks. It's affecting the RHS of my face and right now I'm on the course of anti-viral and steroid mediciation that the GP prescribed (as well as patching my eye closed in the evenings).

    I'm out of the office on a sick cert this week although I hate it so I'm working remotely as much as I can.

    Anyone else had this and did they just keep working? I hate the boredom of being away from work and think not working will make the time drag.

    My sister had it caused by stress. Her doctor told her to take time off and recover. It should rectify itself but if you get it again, it won't.
    She changed jobs to get away from the stress.
