Anyone here keep their PC on the carpet?

I've heard few people say it can be really bad as the psu fan can suck in carpet dust.

I keep mine on plywood, but that's just the way the room is. Although for years I had two PC on the carpet with zero problems.

Its not the carpet itself thats the issue, its obstructed airflow for bottom vented cases.

Even if the case is on legs about 1 inch off the ground?

The weight of the PC probably makes it sink far enough into the carpet.

Off-topic (?) but I still can't find a case to possibly replace my Kublai KL06.
    It does everything right.
    • Top-mount PSU with magnetic dust filter
    • 6+ 2.5" drive bays (good when 3.5" is on the way out)
    • 2x 5.25" drive bays for expansion
    • Locking slot
    • Drive cage doubles as a GPU support
    • Relatively small at only 32L

Actually a friend of mine gave himself burns on his thighs that way.
