what is the future here? The ferries look awfully empty to me the last half dozen times I've sailed and Stena are adjusting their sailing times presumably looking for more custom and I just booked for mid July and got 30% off ; €250 return in mid July for a camper would have been unthinkable a couple of years back.

Can the services to Wales from Rosslare survive with four sailings a day I wonder

    What are you judging on?

Foot passenger numbers are effectively nonexistent. Car passengers are more likely to use cabins due to antisocial behaviour in the common areas. Ro-ro freight probably contributea more income than cars

Imagine the perplexity if Stena read this and realized that they had to take off their sailings with immediate effect

I've travelled dozens if not hundreds of times and I've yet to see any anti-social behaviour.
I'm judging on how busy the ferries used to be and no longer seem to be. For instance, on the Stena ship there is a large TV longe aft with a quiet seating area to the rear of that and I've not seen these open at all on my last half dozen trips.

I doubt Brexit is going to help with sailings to Britain. I suppose these ships are not suitable for the longer routes to France?

doubtful as the facilities are pretty basic for a 24 hour + sailing

I just booked the Oscar Wilde for 3 weeks time. I was actually surprised i got a booking and cabin, thought it would be booked out.

    Why??

Are Ireland suddenly going to stop importing/exporting, it's far more efficient to travel via UK than France for most companies even if there are customs checks in place.

    Ferries are rarely booked out.
