Any reason why you are creating posts with just screenshots from local papers?

In other threads when something is quoted, others come back looking for 'proof' or links to the quote. The screenshot provides said proof.

I just spotted a couple of interesting motoring related articles in the local paper, and thought it might be of interest to others.

Why, is creating posts with a screenshot not permitted?

It's easier for others if you link to an article with some info quoted so user can get info without having to read an image.

    I googled a bit and found http://www.newstalk.com/Almost-two-thirds-of-drivers-feel-unprepared-for-the-road--even-after-their-test

    Snippet below
Almost two thirds of drivers feel unprepared for the road - even after their test

Over 60% of drivers feel under-prepared for the road even after passing their driving test
New research by Liberty Insurance shows almost half of unconfident drivers have experienced anxiety while behind the wheel.
Half of all drivers under 30 do not feel confident when driving in certain places or performing particular manoeuvres, like reverse parallel parking and using major roundabouts with multiple exits.
Only 40% of all drivers claim to be ‘very confident’ in these areas.

Tbh, I'd expect as much. Just because one have a licence doesn't mean one is ready to take on any situation.
It will get better as one gets more experience.

I know what you mean, and if I was a bit more than just a basic poster, I might be able to do what you suggest, biko.
And yes, I have tried before in the past .................. and failed.

A licence only proves you meet the bare minimum requirement to drive on the road, not surprising most stop there as there's little or no incentive to improve as a driver.

i been driving for years but never feel like am good enough to be on the road, thankfully a few pints gives me the courage to get out there and drive on a daily basis. but i keep a bottle of rum on hand for longer journeys just in case.
