    It looks a bit like an Apple. Does it have flowers in Spring?

    If it is, that pot is too small.

    I think it is some sort of a wild prunus, possibly a damson. They are quite common and not particularly interesting, I have some on some open ground beside my house. I have never seen them flower or produce fruit.

    Thank you both for replying. It never flowers. It's in that pot with years and my hubby has grown quite fond of it, he says it's a fighter
