Just looked into the back of the ball and chains 3 series and noticed there is no room between the 2 current car seats.

There is talk of a another baby and the 3 series hasn't a hope of fitting in 3 car seats.

Is there any saloons or estates that will fit 3 car seats and iso fix. Come the time we will only need 2 iso fix so that may help.

I don't think a jeep is an option as she finds them to high.

I think you know the answer. If 2 isofix you wont fit another seat/booster in unless you move into MPV/SUV world.....

A 3 series has a very small back seat space so even with 2 I would say you struggle to get the seats in.....

Only very few cars have three equal seats in the rear bench, none of them is salon/estate...
    - Honda FRV
    - Citroen C4 (Grand) Picasso
    - Peugeot 5008
    - Ford S-Max & Galaxy
    - Seat Alhambra and its VW sibling (cannot remember the name)
    - Volvo XC90

There are also a few with three separate seats, but the middle one is narrower - such as VW Touran, Toyota Prius+ and Renault Grand Scenic.

No cars would suit, you'd need to start looking at mpv's and the like to be able to fit 3 kids in seats across the back, and all that goes with them.

I thought you were saying you were looking in your balls and planning another child, you will be looking at an mpv to carry the buggies etc if you have three children.

This might be an option. Gets recommended a bit. And is meant to fit into most cars.

Hutton and Meade used to sell them in Ireland. I talked to them a few months back and they mentioned it

They stopped selling because they said it was difficult to install...

As far as I know it will comply with everything, more or less it is a large car seat and it connects direct to car. I originally thought you pulled out the back seat and replaced with this but guy in Hutton and Meade said it sits on top of back seat and works that way

I am pretty sure a company down around the docks also offered to install a few years ago but couldn't find them,....

It is a great idea but expensive

I was thinking of buying it and might still for second car.

What I found in end after battling with the car seats and trying to work out how to fit them I still ended up with the issue about where I put all the other crap you need to bring with you when you have 2+ kids:P

I went with SMAX so I have 3 car seat in back but then I also have a huge boot for buggy/bags/etc....

    true that,
the functionality would be very limited in a small car. kids come with alot of cutrements.

depending on age of oldest child this might be option (ages: 4-11):

This saved me having to change from the octavia when number 3 came along! been using it for over 2 years now its great.

I bought this one too recently to try it out as though it was clever idea but young fella said it wasn't comfortable.
(will be good for short use e.g. going on holidays/car rental!)
