    Hi i have my theory test done for the rigid truck and lesssons taken do I need to have my Cpc done before I can apply for my driving test

    Assuming you're over the age of 21, the only CPC stage you need to have completed is stage 1 - the driver theory test which is a requirement for obtaining a learner permit so the short answer is no, you can take the test and sort your CPC later if that suits you better. It's your choice.

    At this point, you don't need to complete any more CPC in order to take the test. In fact, any driver that won't become a 'professional driver' is not required to do any more. For example, if you run a rally car as an amateur and need your C licence for your service truck, you won't need CPC as you aren't driving professionally. However, if you employ a rigid truck driver for race weekends, he would need CPC as he is the professional driver.
