Have been using meteor mobile wifi, but 50 GB is their max with top ups when it's all used up. Now 50 isn't enough any more
I see that Eir do 100 and 250. GB.
If my meteor signal is good, does it follow that eir's will be too?
Aren't they in some sort of business relationship?
Is there any downside to going with eir, given that their broadband through the phone line is dreadful out where I am?

Eir own both EirMobile & Meteor so there shouldn't be any difference in network coverage.
Phoneline and mobile broadband are different systems.
Your distance from the exchange and line quality dictate what you get on phoneline BB.
Your mobile coverage dictates what you get on mobile BB.

Yes my mobile coverage is way better than the phone line.
I cancelled the phone broadband ages ago as I was only ever getting under 1 G
I'm about 5 miles from th exchange, they say I have a direct line in and it's unlikely that I'll ever get fibre, even with the new projects.
