    Hey,

    So SUSI sent me out a nice checklist that went about asking me for the usual documents, birthcert, declaration etc but they also want a C7 letter from SLC because I have applied for a tuition loan from them to cover the 9K fees from my English uni.

    The C7 form is listed as needing to contain the following:
    If you have applied or have been offered funding from another awarding or funding body
    then you must provide us with a letter from them with the following information ;
     The details of the awarding body
     A detailed breakdown of the award that you may receive (for maintenance, fees etc.)
    If you have applied for funding from another source and were not successful you must
    provide us with documentary evidence of this.

    So I called the SLC, they said: "We dont send out letters like that, we cant do it."

    I called SUSI and they said: "We need a letter like that, we need it"

    So anyone know someone in the same boat and what to do about it?

    Can you get funding through SUSI for a UK university course? SCL don't (apparently) cover R of Ireland so it would seem a bit unlikely that you can deal with both SUSI and SCL? I may be wrong on this but it might be worth checking if this is the issue.
