God and the capital 'H'

    Why does the h in He have to be capitalised when referring to God? And the g in God too?

    Does he/He get annoyed if it's spelt with the lower case? And if so, what's the punishment? :confused:

    Same reason Muslims use things like (PBUH) when mentioning prophets - it's a mark of respect.
