    Hi all,
I'm looking at what new boiler to get.
My house is a bungalow with only a single zone. All the pipes are buried in the concrete floor so it would be hard to zone it I think unless there are some ingenious devices that I do not know about.
Is there any type of boiler I should be looking at for energy efficiency? I'll have to look at the kW of the boiler to see what size I need.
    Thank for the help.

Grant vortex all the way. If vudget isn't a problem go for the vortex blue flame for the extra few hundred. As for zoning look into radeco or Honeywell eco home A wireless rev head on each rad allows you to create as many zones in house as you like

Bungalows can often be easily converted to a two zone system by running independent heating pipes across the attic for the hot water cylinder.

Blue flame doesn't justify the extra cost
( we won't have any choice when there mandatory next year)
There is no improvement in the MPG
    Just lower Nox fumes.
    Which in itself is good.

When blue flame becomes mandatory, the price differences is expected to be lower than €100 on Riellos.

So the oil usage is the same with both just the exhaust fumes are cleaner with the blue flame?

I like the idea of running new pipes to cylinder. That's a nice simple solution.

Yes blueflame is simply cleaner but not more efficient
