Best value 30-40" TV

I'm looking to pick up a TV for use in a bedroom and was wondering if anyone had any good value recommendations.

I'll be hooking up a Chromecast or Apple TV so no need for smart features, 3D or anything like that. Also don't need it to be 4K or anything else top of the line.

I've seen some dirt cheap JVC units in Currys etc but from what I've read the sound is crap... so is there another brand that can be relied upon without costing the earth?

Picked up a 32'' Sharp Smart TV FULL HD for 300 on Littlewoods of all places but if you dont need Smart , there are good LG sets for around 200- 250 32/37''

There's a LG 43 inch for 360 in expert shops.

No smart features but LG are a proper brand that make their own panels and are reliable with good quality picture.

Only 2 HDMI ports but this is not the end of the world, you can you get a hub for a few euros

Thanks for that - will check the Sharp out. Have a non-smart LG in the living room and am fairly happy with that, so will see what they have to offer too

Pretty sure I seen a 42/43" in Tesco for €299 on Friday, I'd have bought it myself only I got a new one 12 months ago.
