House in Receivership & Deposit

Our rental accom has been put into receivership and is being sold.

An asset manager was appointed who is responsible for the property. We are on a monthly rolling contract and looking to vacate in middle August.

Who should we be looking for our deposit back from. Ex landlord will most likely say nothing to do with him now.

Is there anything we can do?

The landlord is the person who needs to give you the deposit, but most receivers will just give to you to get rid of you.
